Microblading Treatments

 Microblading is a technique of cosmetic tattooing performed specifically on the eyebrows. Like earlier methods of cosmetic tattooing, it is done by manually depositing pigment into the second layer of the skin (dermis). But what makes it truly unique is the hand tool used.  The unique formation of needles allows the artist to create the look of real eyebrow hairs by tattooing very fine hair-like strokes in the skin.  

A full Microblading treatment takes approximately 2 hours in treatment time. This includes mapping of the eyebrows to ensure symmetry and precision. Clients are able to choose the shape and style of the eyebrow that will suit them best. 

Numbing cream is applied to the area to ensure the treatment process is as comfortable as possible. 

The Microblading portion of the treatment usually takes around 45 minutes. Once the treatment is completed, full aftercare is provided. An appointment is also provided 6 weeks after the initial treatment in order to assess the eyebrows once they are healed. This is to ensure they have healed correctly and some small amendments may be needed during this appointment. 

Healing of a microblading treatment is very straight forward. Due to the very small strokes that are applied, scabbing of the area is very minimal and mostly unnoticeable to others. The eyebrows will appear darker straight after the treatment however, 50% off this colour will reduce over the first 2 weeks. From weeks 2-4 of healing, the eyebrows can look as though they have not been done or become patchy. This is due to the skin having healed over the top. But rest assured the pigment come will back. During weeks 4-6 the pigment will return to the skin. Leaving you with beautiful, long lasting eyebrows. 

A consultation and a skin patch test is requires 24+ hours prior to treatment.
